Early single lens stereoview of Hotel Bauer in Zürich, Switzerland, around 1860
 
A fine, early view showing the famous hotel. In front of the hotel a horse and carriage. Clearly visible are the shadows left by people not having stood still long enough to leave a more clear impression. The differences in the two images are quite obvious: the two people in the foreground of the right hand image are not visible in the left hand image.
